About: Chris Robinson

I grew up in a city beloved by all, Buffalo NY. South Central North Buffalo to be exact. However my friend Paul would have you believe it was the “University District”. (If you are anyone but Paul those last 2 sentences will never make sense, a “had to be there” thing).

I went to Canisius highschool (Can-e-shus) for a fine Jesuit education. After that I moved on to R.I.T. in Rochester and recieved a BA in Information Technology. “Oh computers, thats where the money is” is what the older people say. That or they think I work at a help desk trying to figure out if some non-computer savy person has their cookies enabled. However, the money is not all that fantasitc and no, no I don’t work at a help desk, but the best way to enable cookies, if you are wondering, is to unplug your computer and dunk it in milk.

Back on track. 4 years later I left R.I.T. and moved to NYC and became a web developer. HTML. CSS, Javascript, Flash that sort of thing. I’m currently working on a bunch of side projects, mostly community based stuff. Check back and maybe someday they will actually launch, maybe even be successful. We’ll see.

Other then that, I’m a Web Standards advocate, student of usability and a supporter of all things open source…even if its broken, because if its to easy, its not worth it.
